Hailey's 1st Softball Game :-)

I am a newby softball mom, so this was extremely weird for me to sit on "bleachers" rather than on a gym floor or chairs to watch Hailey play softball Saturday afternoon; luckily I had a seasoned mom with me who knew how to cheer, AND  how to help find a seat in the front row so we could get a good view of the game! Hailey did soo great, she got a triple hit first time up for bat, then a double the second time up! I'm so proud of our girl! I think even Uncle Konrad and Aunt Sarah, the softball guro's,  might have to come see her play with a visit to TN!

Eggs Eggs Everywhere!

We had a wonderful time finding eggs at our church's annual Easter Egg hunt down the road from us on their farm property, as well as making some of our own to keep the Egg tradition alive.  We finished the weekend at our friend's house, who had an inside egg hunt for all the kids there too! I now have over 300 plastic eggs in my house, baskets over-flowing and no place for them to go! I think I'll have a yard sale, maybe call it an Egg sale....everyone gets free eggs w/ purchase :-)

Barnyard "Moosical"

Hailey had her spring musical here in pics-there were lots of farm animals walking around her school the other night!  Featured are the 3 little pigs, but there were chickens, goats and cows too :-) Hailey even had a speaking part- She was a natural!  Emily, of course, felt a little left out, so she was excited to wear her new Easter-bunny ears to the show.  It was very entertaining! 

IT'S MARCH! LET IT SNOW!

This will probably be the last of winter weather for us, so we are in the spirit of snow boots, snow suits, scarves and hats; it snowed probably 1 in. for us, and we are THRILLED!~~  Too bad the sleds didn't slide very well on wet grass! :-0  We made the best of it with snowballs and boot tracks....

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope everyone had a heart-filled Valentine's day! Lot's of parties, chocolates and sweet-tarts were had here.  It truly was a "sweet-heart" of a day.

Hailey and Daddy decided to do a photo shoot of the tour bus before Daddy left for a trip out west; home away from home :-0  Don't know how they do it; better him than EVER me. 

Happy New Year 2013

This is a bit late into the new year, but the pictures below are a wonderful celebration for the New Year w/ Kinsey's, mine and Kristin's b-day bash, etc.!  We are always grateful when we can go visit in Illinois at winter time, and celebrate Christmas and New Year's together.  This year was extra special for me, celebrating my 40th birthday meant the world to spend it w/ my family.  As the pictures tell, all had a wonderful time, especially in the snow!
