Nashville Snow-Storm 2016

                                                         Happy Snow Days are here!!!!! Yeah

                                                        How about a SNOW ROSE for fun!!! 

 Our pool is officially frozen over-after getting the milk jugs in place to hold the cover on!!!!!

 It's going to be a long week-the snow plows are up in Wisconsin and Illinois-no hope here!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, guess we'll enjoy sledding, building our snowmen, and drinking hot chocolate for a few more days-then just sit and wait for the rest of the streets to melt so we can finally get back to school!

Merry Christmas 2015

 Santa made it to Castalian Springs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The cookies were very good said Santa!!!

 A few Christmas gifts were had by all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made it up to Illinois in time for the Christmas Extravaganza!  It was a great time seeing all the cousins, aunts, uncles and GRANDPARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Happy Official Retirement to Papa!  Time for whatever there is to do :-)

Emily's Zany Zebra Birthday Party

 Dad had the cake all ready, and SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's time to sing Happy B-day!

                                 Wow!  She was mesmerized by the stripes on the cake!  Publix is awesome.

                                               The cake was very good..............as you can see!

 Next, we hit the pinata in the backyard, since it was so nice outside, we got to play. Go Emmy!

 Hailey tried to hit the pinata hard enough to make it fall, but she couldn't get it to crack.

 Brooke tried too, but no success.  We went through about 6 rounds before it finally came apart.

Finally, Emily got her guitar that she waited for, and took to it right away~ she's in the early stages of a career right now, we'll see how far we get :-)   Love you Em.........Happy 7th!
 

Happy 7th Birthday Emily!

 Happy Happy 7th Birthday Emily!!!!!!!  She was so very excited to add another friend to her over-grown population of stuffed animals, the newest unicorn named "Bella". 

 She wanted to give Hailey a big hug for all her cool presents, especially for "Bella" the unicorn.

We decided to try some "clip-on" earrings and see how that would work out-so far, she likes them-at least for a little while. 

We tried on the new dress Grandma Jan made for her, and she loves the color purple!  We will be trying to find some pretty socks to wear with it and some new pretty winter shoes.

~Happy Fall~One more day on the lake!

 Dad and the girls took one more spin on the boat last weekend before it got too cold-each caught one fish, the day was a success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                THERE IT IS: here is the first big bluegill that made it all worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                 FISH NUMBER 2: Hailey caught the 2nd bluegill all by herself-she's a pro.
