Merry Christmas! 2016

 Season's Greetings! Lot's of pictures from the holiday season so far........here are a few to view.

 This was the backdrop to Emily's School Christmas Play this year: Christmas at the OK Corral.

 Hailey did her Christmas concert up at her school at the same time, so Dad had to attend this one. She did very well playing the flute!

 WE enjoyed Cookie once again this Christmas, and he is still with us tonight, since Santa said he could stay one more day with us! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Wishful thinking for a snowy white Christmas...............it was 74 degrees out today! A record for Christmas temps.

On our way up to Illinois for a visit with g-parents, cousins, aunts, uncles and more!!!!!!!!!!!! We are excited!

Birthday Celebrations!

Celebrating Emily's birthday after Thanksgiving was great!

 Grandma Jan and Papa went with to the skating rink with the girls and Rob for some fun!

 Emily opened some gifts while everyone was still here for Thanksgiving, then she opened more on her Birthday.

 This was the present she was wanting the most-a newly renovated baby Taylor guitar!!!! She is ready to get going on her music debut!!!!! JK!  She really enjoys strummin' on her guitar!!! More to come with the birthday celebrations!!

Thanksgiving blessings

 HAPPY THANKS!

 We had a wonderful celebration of good food and good family-Eric and Michelle visited as well as Papa and Grandma Jan- and we also met a new 4-legged friend from Brevard!

 Meet Freddie Girl!  Michelle is working hard to do some basic training, as Freddie is full of energy!

 Here is our wonderful fried Turkey, and then we also had a super awesome smoked Brisket the night before, which we had to take a picture of it's superb smoke ring!  (that's important to a cook who smoke's meat on their cooker)! :-)

 After the delicious meal, everyone went down to Joe's pond and caught some Large-mouth bass-well, almost everyone! Sorry Papa!!!!

It was a very mild and beautiful Thanksgiving this year! So glad to have everyone visit and celebrate.
