Hello from Big Lagoon State Park 2016

Hello from the Big Lagoon State Park-this is a view from a tower over the waters beside the park.

The park was beautiful, and had many walkways around the
park area where you could see a lot of birds and wildlife.

We saw this restaurant between Perdito Key and Orange beach, so we decided to give it a try for some yummy crab and oysters!!!!

Obviously, Rob was enjoying the oysters, and Hailey tried crab legs!  YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we are on the Perdito Key State park beach side, which was minutes away from our campgrounds-it is the sister campground to Big Lagoon, and it was very clean and very pretty!  The girls couldn't get enough of the water and making sand-art!

We went on a dolphin viewing cruise in Orange Beach, Alabama.  We saw a few dolphins, but pretty much just enjoyed the views from the boat and hanging out eating popcorn and listening to music!

We decided to go to the Naval Air Museum right in Pensicola, and it was so great!!!! Lots to see and learn!!!!!!

We got to sit in old pilot seats for planes flown back in the 1950's and beyond-cool place.

We had a fabulous time at Big Lagoon State park, where you can have the best of both worlds!!

Fall Happenings...........

Emily got to cheer with the Gallatin High School cheerleading team friday night at a home game! She attended the clinic and then got to participate on the field-Super Great-
dynamite!!!

The high school band sounded really good with lots of enthusiasm as they were winning the first half of the game!!!

Emily was a little nervous at first and overwhelmed by the loud crowd, but settled down and enjoyed the game after warming up to a few cheers!!!!!!!!!!!

Hailey decided she wants to play the flute at her school, so she is ready for the band-Sounds great!!!

Earlier this past week, Hailey and Dad decided to go out for one more day on the boat to fish-and success with the bluegills!
