The Easter Bunny was a bit tricky this year, and it took some time to finally find all the hidden eggs!

When asked why we have Easter Eggs on Easter, there was some good discussion that took place.  There are a lot of symbols behind Easter and eggs, one of them being that the egg is symbolic for the tomb that Jesus was placed- and once they(cracked open the tomb-rolled the stone away)his body was no longer there, but with the creator- what a wonderful surprise and victory for so many people. The inside of the egg is symbolic for the renewal of life, strength, fertility and nourishment for all.  The girls are just starting to understand so much more about this holiday, and they really liked how that concept fit together.

Honors Choir Recital 2016

 It was a beautiful night with the honors choir from 13 different elementary schools performing 6 songs.  They sounded amazing.  Hailey also got to play one of her songs with the xylophone, which is one of the reasons she got asked to perform with the choir.  They all did such a great job.

 The 6 girls in the program from BBE, and Mrs. Bush, and Dr. Seccia(vice principal to BBE). 

 Emily wanted Hailey to have a rose, so she got one from a friend, and then they both got one.
