Happy 7th Hailey

We had a really nice Birthday party at the house for Hailey again this year; we up't the ante w/ getting a water slide instead of a regular bouncy from our good neighbors who own them; lots of fun, smiles and WATER!  Hailey wanted to have an "owl birthday" this year, so I thought the cake folks at Publix's did great making an owl-I am sure that's not one you see requested on paper every day for birthday cakes! :-) Anyway, good times had by all, and most of all, no one got hurt!  Whew! I think this may be the last year for "at home" big parties-we shall see what next year brings.....

Summer's Here!

Well, I haven't blogged in a bit, it's been crazy just like everyone else's schedule is this time of year-Welcome Summer! I have to say, it has been one of the nicest May months I have been through since living "down south" as the humidity hasn't quite hit the unbearable mark yet, even w/ the warmer weather; we took advantage of some awesome weather the other night, and took the boat out on the lake; it works great;  Dad picks us up at the boat marina a mile away, and we all just pile in-the girls love going on the boat, even if we go 2 miles an hour w/ the trolling motor; here are some special pics from the boat adventure; take a look at the awesome moon we were greeted with when it got dark!  I need to blog about Hailey's birthday bash too, but I got these pics uploaded just yesterday, so I am was excited to share the moment.
